About Syncorde
Syncorde is an internal business system used to record sales, customers, products and deliveries, and to keep them in step with connected accounting software.
It is not a public service. There is no signup, there is no fee, and it is not offered to anyone outside the business that operates it.
Access
Access is granted to authorised staff and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
Accounts are personal. Credentials must not be shared, and anything done using an account is treated as done by the person it belongs to.
Access may be used only for the business purposes it was granted for.
Connected accounting systems
Syncorde reads from and writes to connected accounting software such as QuickBooks Online. That software remains the system of record for accounting purposes.
Where the two disagree, the connected system holds the authoritative figure, and Syncorde raises the difference for someone to resolve rather than overwriting it.
Syncorde does not calculate, file or originate tax. VAT rates and codes are mirrored from the connected system, and responsibility for them stays with that system and with the accountant for the business.
Availability
Syncorde depends on services operated by others, including hosting, accounting, payment, delivery and printing providers. It may be unavailable while any of those are unavailable, and during maintenance.
No particular level of availability is promised.
No warranty
Syncorde is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind.
It is a tool for recording and displaying business data. It is not advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for accounting, tax or legal advice.
Personal information
How Syncorde handles personal information is described in the privacy policy.
